I'm inviting everybody to check out pretty much the most significant thing I have done so far: Stas & Alex's Magic Night Live - our humble acoustic show. It is divided into three videos for ease of perception and copyright reasons (if someday YouTube changes its policy concerning cover-versions, my songs won't get taken down too): "Here we go: My songs", "Queen Songs", "Grand finale: all the rest we got". All three are in the playlist below.

A little story behind the show and its full tracklist are below the video (click "Read more...")

View from the window of Boeing 474-8 on the way to JapanEverybody loves Japan. Even those who have never been there. I had always been feeling jealous watching documentaries about Queen's tours in Japan. I was intrigued by the fact that Freddie Mercury was so much attracted by Japanese art and culture. The opening of the "Lost In Translation" movie, when Bill Murray is going through Tokyo in a taxi has been ever thrilling for me. Why? Subconsciously, I realized that Japan is very different from any other country in the world. But how? Does the perception of Japan change after visiting it? I decided to write about my first trip to Japan, my impressions and stuff that surprised me the most.

Hi everybody! So, it happened that I'm living in Ukraine since July 2014. With this post, I might be starting a series of articles about Ukraine. The real one, not that stuff you see on TV. There's a lot of things that piss me off in Ukraine. However, most of them you can put up with. But still, there's stuff that makes me think: "I could never imagine THAT could be happening! That's not a human way to do things." This one is called "Try getting a passport".

First of all, Ukraine is one of the few countries where citizens need to get a special passport to travel abroad (International or "foreign" passport, translated directly from Russian). It is well-known how difficult and often impossible for the people of Ukraine it is to get a visa in order to enter any other country (except for those few countries which do not have a visa requirement, but nobody wants to go there anyway). Now, getting a passport only to be eligible to try to get a visa is a whole another adventure.

Let's admit...

Stas Sagdeyev and Alex Vitkovskiy performing Love of my Life

Hello world! We've been working on something with Alex lately. And it's not even one of my songs (yay!). We've wanted to record an acoustic cover for one of the greatest songs, "Love of my Life" (F. Mercury), for a long time. However, what's the point of recording it if it might get deleted from YouTube, right? But since, at some point (I don't know when exactly), YouTube changed the policy, now allowing people to share revenue with the rights owner (thus, compensating unpaid royalties), we decided to do it...

"Wow! I can rotate it any way I want!" - sagdeyev.com goes responsive

Hi everybody! I am really excited because what I was obsessed with for over a month is now finished.

The idea of creating a new design for my website from scratch came up when I discovered how far ahead technologies and demands of modern web design were. When I opened this site in late 2011 I just wanted to have my own place to share my works end express my opinion. Not so many people were talking about some serious web-surfing using mobile phones or smartphones back then. I, personally, didn't even expect having many visitors. However, some of the articles (especially ones dedicated to Freddie Mercury and "his" Montreux) attracted quite a constant and growing traffic to my website. The list of top 5 articles people are reading goes like this...
