Freddie Mercury Statue in Montreux during the Memorial Day 2012

Hi everybody!

Over the last year I wrote several articles dedicated to Freddie's Montreux and they turned out to be quite popular among Queen's and Freddie Mercury's fans. I received a lot of personal feedback and for that, I thank you all!

Right now I'm looking forward to the upcoming 11th Freddie Mercury's Memorial Day which will take place, as usual, in Montreux and this time from 6th till 8th of September 2013. I'll be there on Saturday, 7th of September. End of the 11th Freddie Mercury's Montreux Memorial Day

We see that this year there will be no special guests (like Mike Moran last year) but some interesting stuff is going to take place and Peter Freestone will be around to give answers to some of our questions. Let's point out that the boat trip to the Lake House (the one which is on the cover of "Made In Heaven") is definitely on the "must do"-list of any Queen fan who hasn't done it yet. This year it is actually the only activity which costs something during the FMMD. Tickets for the trip will cost you 20 Swiss Francs (or 17 Euro) per person and are sold while boarding (lakeside, Avenue Nestlé).

Anyway, whatever is the programme, there will be plenty of fans at the Freddie's Memorial Day this year and the atmosphere, sure, will be unforgettable.

See you in Montreux!

P.S. In order to give you some inspiration while anticipating the upcoming Memorial May I'm inviting you to see the pictures from the previous year.
