Hi! I just got back home from our premiere of special version of Dialogues des carmélites and I have to say we are all very excited about what happened this evening on stage. So, those of you who have not attended this performance today (in fact we had a truly "full house") just have to come and see it tomorrow.

Just wanted to make a quick announcement about what is going to happen in the next few days.

We have been working quite hard on the current ZHdK orchestra project since last Friday. Jan Dvorak (from Germany) who also conducts the piece made this special short version of the Francis Poulenc's opera "Dialogues des carmélites" for the string quintet, percussion and, of course, singers.

I have to say, I'm really sorry about not having called to all of you in Odessa to tell that from now on I'm studying in Hochschule in Zurich in the class of prof. Christoph Schiller. I've been really going nuts for a past few days and now, sitting here at the Vienna Airport...

Since the very first time I came to Switzerland I was dreaming about a possibility to go for a trip probably every single fan of Queen is thinking of, a trip to Montreux. Why? It's a simple one, haha. Because the famous statue of Freddie Mercury is there. Why Montreux? Why the statue of such a flamboyant artistic figure, the king of rock, the No.1 frontman in countless rock magazines tops was decided to be installed in a quiet little town in the French part of Switzerland on the shores of Lake Geneva? Yeah, this one requires a little digging into history, which I think will bring up more reasons for going to Montreux.

But why is Freddie so much connected to Montreux anyway? When in 1978 Queen came to Montreux's Mountain Studios in order to record their 7th studio album later named "Jazz"...
