Stas Sagdeyev in the studio

Stanislav Sagdeyev with Patricia Kaas and the colleagues

Hello everybody!

I wanted to write this some time ago but I got really... distracted upon arrival back to Odessa and only now I can have some clarity in my mind.

Despite all of the different opinions heard about SkyDance, in my humble opinion it was a major thing! Not only because of the fact that everyone...

Hey! We've just finished the first SkyDance 2011 show in Geneva. Some artists sure got me astonished while some got... confused. For example Ying Ling. These girls did with their bodies acrobatic things I could hardly imagine were possible. Amazing! John Carey with his Celtic Stars was also just great. When the first part of the show was finished and I got off the stage I think the first thing I said to Luciano was: "This guy sure is a PRO!" Paricia Kaas, as expected, was a very pleasant company to accompany. I'm pretty sure these songs are going...

Patricia Kaas at the rehearsal in Zurich for the SkyDance 2011 shows

Hi everybody!

I spent Monday and Tuesday in Zürich having Symphonisches Orchester Zürich rehearsals for the upcoming SkyDance 2011 shows. There actually will be 2 shows in Geneva and 4 in Zurich. What can I say? All of the live orchestra music is conducted by brilliant Cristoforo Spagnuolo (wellcome to SOZ again, Cristoforo!). Miss Patricia Kaas visited the rehearsal yesterday. At two shows in Geneva she will perform...

Alexander Nezvinskiy determined to get a good sound is doing his job

The sound itself always fascinated me. I guess I've been interested in it ever since I discovered that once properly recorded or synthesized it may be transformed into virtually anything. Being a fan of Queen I also realised that live sound of the band wouldn't be so cool at all unless being treated right on its way from the mics and amps to the speakers. Thus, audio mixing, regardless studio or live...

I'm glad to share with you the news that an old friend Alyosha Semenenko just won the second prize of the Queen Elisabeth violin competition. Congratulations!
I think that Richard Marx's "Endless Summer Nights" is one of the most beautiful and at the same time one of the saddest songs about love ever written. We recorded a "live" acoustic cover together...
I'm going from Berlin to Zurich by bus and I've just been forced to buy a full separate ticket for my viola. Why can't I put it on a shelf like usual? Because if the...
